Calibration

Cable tensiometer are hand held instruments used in the aviation industry during cable rigging in the aircraft for periodic cable maintenance by aircraft maintenance technicians.

Cables are used in an aircraft to connect the flight controllers to any moveable parts on the aircrafts wings. We calibrate CWT and IMP wire sizes.​

Calibration of mass is used to accurately measure weight and capability of a tool/ scale and ensure that it complies with the manufacturers specification and set standards.

Dimensional calibration is used to test the accuracy and reliability of measuring devices/ tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers etc. The instruments need to be calibrated regularly to ensure that precise measurements can be given, which would otherwise result in varying degrees of complications.

Pressure calibration is a process of comparing  a pressure measurement device to a reference gauge. All gauges should be calibrated to minimise the risk of inaccurate readings.

Force calibration is a process of testing the accuracy of a force measuring device but is also a standard for which crimp tools and other such instruments are tested. Force calibration is vital in engineering to ensure the safety and reliability of equipment and components that face strain and tension on a regular basis.

Torque is measure of rotational force and the process of torque calibration is carried out to ensure that equipment is reliable, accurate and conforms to national standards. Proper torque application is vital to prevent under or over tightening of a component.
