Force Tool Calibration
We calibrate a range of force tools, see below. If you don't see what you're looking for feel free to get in touch we'll be more than happy to help.
Digital Force Gauge
A digital force gauge measures pull and push forces. A digital force gauge is often called a push-pull force gauge or tension gauge. It is used in material testing, quality control & assurance. Digital force gauge devices provide measurements in kilograms (kg), grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lbs), and Newtons (N) of force (f), depending on the force gauge model.
Crimp Tools
Crimping is a way of joining pieces of metal or other ductile material by deforming one or both of the pieces to hold the other, and this deformity is known as the "crimp". A crimping tool is a tool used to deform the material and create the connection. Crimping is commonly used in electrical work, to attach wires together or wire to other connectors.
Hydraulic Crimp tool
A hydraulic crimp tool with built-in dies is a powerful device used to join two pieces of metal or other materials by deforming one or both of them to hold each other. The built-in dies are essential for ensuring a secure and precise crimp every time.
Static Hydraulic Crimp Tool
A hydraulic crimper is a tool used to connect the ends of two cables, wires, or other similarly flexible materials such as hydraulic hoses to a matching hose end. This tool allows the user to create crimped connections through a hydraulic fluid mechanism to transfer force from the user to the tool.
Crimp Tool Dies
Crimp tool dies are designed for crimping connectors during installation and electrical work. Specialist crimpers can have multiple different types of dies used with it & are interchangeable. We can test your crimp tool with multiple dies however additional dies cost extra. Crimping dies will need to be sent with their crimp tool to be calibrated.
Wire Strippers
A wire stripper is a portable handheld tool used by workers, especially electricians, for removing the protective coating of an electric wire in order to replace or repair the wire. It is also capable of stripping the end portions of an electric wire in order to connect them to other wires or to terminals.
