Pressure Gauges (UKAS) Calibration

PCL Twin Head Tyre Pressure Gauge 45-300 PSI

Also, known as a stick gauge, this aircraft-specific tyre gauge is specially constructed to withstand continual hard use. The high PSI range is specially set within the range of what aircraft tyres are set to. The tyre gauge also has two tyre valves, the standard 8v1 & the large bore 12v1 tyre, these valves are specifically used in the aviation industry. This tyre gauge is also easy to use, the user just needs to connect the pressure gauge valve to the tyre. The rod on the inside of the then moves out to show the PSI of the tyre.

Pressure Gauges 0-400 Bar | 5800 PSI

These pressure gauges with diaphragm pressure elements are suited to gaseous and liquid, aggressive media. Pressure gauges with open connecting flanges are even suitable for highly viscous and contaminated media, in aggressive environments too. Depending on the instrument model and pressure range, an overload safety of 3x or 5x the full-scale value is standard. These gauges have an overload safety of 400 bar. The measurement accuracy is maintained. With high dynamic pressure loads and vibrations, a liquid filling within the case of the pressure gauge ensures precise readability.

Test Pressure Gauges (High Accuracy) 0-551 Bar | 8000 PSI

As the name suggests high accuracy test gauges are used when a high degree of measurement accuracy is required. They are used to calibrate and test the accuracy of other devices especially mission-critical devices where the final product quality or safety is dependent on an accurate measurement. In these instances, the accuracy of measurement instrumentation needs to be checked on a regular basis.

The accuracy of a pressure gauge is determined by how close it is to its true value in percentage terms. For example, an industrial gauge with a range from -1 bar to 1000 bar to an accuracy of ±1.0% will be accurate to within plus or minus 10.01 bar. Pressures are measured to a high precision and compared to the readings of a device under test to determine whether reading errors are within the stated performance parameters.
